Our goal at Renegade Resale is to be transparent in our business practices while we make the consignment process as easy as possible.  We encourage you to read though our website and call us with any questions you might have.  

At Renegade Resale we accept quality and designer clothing for women, men, and teens along with home décor and small furniture items which can fit in a SUV.

There are no limits and no appointment necessary (we accept consignments up until one hour before we close for the day). There is a MINIMUM of 10 items that we would need to accept in order to open a NEW account.

All consigned items will remain on the sales floor for 60 days and the consignor receives 40% of the final selling price, minus fees and taxes.  You do have the option to pick up any unsold items at the end of your consignment term (refer to contract for more details).

We will price your items based on our data research for maximum profitability.  All merchandise is subject to markdowns and sales events (refer to contract for more details)

You may choose to receive a check for items sold (processed on the last day of the month) or opt for in-store credit.  If you choose store credit, it is available immediately and you will receive a 10% bonus (refer to contract for more information regarding payouts for merchandise sold).

We will only accept and sell authentic items at Renegade Resale as it is illegal to sell fakes or knock-offs (refer to contract for more information regarding the selling of authentic designer goods).

Renegade Resale will always do our best to safeguard your items, however we are not responsible for damage or loss (refer to contract for more information).

The Process for Consigning at Renegade Resale is easy!  Just follow the guidelines set and you'll be through the whole process in minutes.

    HOW TO PREPARE YOUR CLOTHING ITEMS FOR CONSIGNMENT:

    • We request all clothing items being brought in should be neat, clean, pressed and either on hangers or neatly folded in laundry baskets, bins or bags.  For the safety of our employees, we will not be able to go through items brought in garbage bags.
    • Costume jewelry should be placed in individual ziplock bags so the items don't get tangled and are easier to look through.  We only accept jewelry items of a higher quality and brands which are easily identifiable and, like our other items, a current trend and color.  We are not able to accept real, high-end jewelry (diamonds, etc) and are not responsible for pricing items as costume as we do not have the knowledge/equipment of a certified jeweler to determine authenticity.
    • Please place purses and shoes in a box or laundry basket.
    • Seasonal clothing and accessories must be current (no more than a couple of years old) and of highest quality.
    • Please understand we cannot take clothing which is more than a couple of years old even if you only wore it one time or still has the tags attached.  Sizing has changed enough over the last decade that a current size 8 pant, for example, could run larger than a size 10/12 pant from the early 2000's.
    • Some brands do not sell well for us or hold their resale value so we may not accept them.  We take into account previous sales patterns and brand history.  Our goal is to sell your items at the best prices and in the shortest amount of time to make room for new merchandise arriving.  Please keep the following guidelines in mind and check for:
      • Holes, stains, pilling, fading or other damage
      • Missing buttons or fasteners
      • Broken zippers
      • Shoes should be clean and without scuffs, toe marks, cracked material or any other defect
      • Purses should be free of marks/stains on the inside and out as well as checked for money, wrappers, or any other things left behind
      • Everything consigned must be free of any fragrance/odor

    HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME DECOR & SMALL FURNITURE PIECES FOR CONSIGNMENT:

    • All home décor and small furniture pieces should be on-trend, current styles, colors and patterns in excellent condition
    • Items must be free of odors (smoke, pet, sprays, etc) and pet hair
    • No damages and all parts working correctly and without prior repair
    • No stains or spots, including water marks 
    • Furniture items must be pre-approved before bringing them in for consignment by emailing the store (info@renegaderesale.com) with clear pictures of all sides of the item (front, back, sides, top)
